Signing the Addendum to MoU between UT and UHO, One Form of Peering Partnership in the Use of ProMISe

Universitas Terbuka (UT) has always been at the forefront of innovation in developing various software and applications that support the enhancement of educational services quality at the open university. One notable example is the development of a goods and services procurement application, which facilitates accountable financial management. Many other universities are interested in learning more about this procurement application, including Universitas Halu Oleo (UHO). As part of UT's commitment to disseminating innovative work and inventions, the university provides opportunities for collaboration and benchmarking, allowing other institutions to utilize the Procurement Management Information System (ProMISe) UT application.

On October 18, 2022, Universitas Terbuka and Universitas Halu Oleo (UHO) signed a Memorandum of Partnership (PKS) for the use of the ProMISe application in goods and services procurement. Recently, an addendum to the MoU was signed between UT and UHO regarding the Use and Development of the Goods and Services Procurement System

with the ProMISe Application - Universitas Terbuka. The signing ceremony occurred at the Multipurpose Building (GSG) at the Universitas Terbuka Headquarter on Tuesday (10/01/2023). UT's Vice Rector for Finance and General Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ali Muktiyanto, S.E., M.Si., and his team, as well as Vice Rector for Planning and Partnership, Armid, S.Si., M.Si., M.Sc., D.Sc., and his team, attended the signing of the addendum.

In his remarks, Prof. Ali expressed his gratitude for the presence of UHO personnel and the strong and sustainable partnership that has brought mutual benefits. He emphasized UT's mission to disseminate innovative products, such as the goods and services procurement application. He stated, 'The more people utilize our innovative products, the more motivated we are to improve and create further innovations in goods and services procurement. UT is committed to maintaining and supporting the use of the ProMISe application and assisting Universitas Halu Oleo (UHO) in implementing it. Vice Rector for Planning and Partnership, Armid, S.Si., M.Si., M.Sc., D.Sc., echoed Prof. Ali's sentiments, expressing gratitude for the collaboration and hoping for its sustainability in the long run.

The core activity of the event was the signing of the addendum to the MoU between UT and UHO by Prof. Dr. Ali Muktiyanto, S.E., M.Si., and Armid, S.Si., M.Si., M.Sc., D.Sc., in the presence of Dra. Dewi Artati Padmo Putri, M.A., Ph.D. (Director of the Institute of Research and Community Services, UT) and Muh. Manshur Taufiq M, SE., M.Si. (Head of Planning and Budgeting Bureau, UHO). The ceremony concluded with an exchange of gifts and a group photo session.
