PPSDM BNN RI Visited Universitas Terbuka Online

For the purpose of organizing the learning process in the national leadership training level II, the Center for Human Resources Development of the National Narcotics Board of the Republic of Indonesia or Pusat Pengembangan Sumber Daya Manusia Badan Narkotika Nasional Republik Indonesia (PPSDM BNN RI) made an official visit to Universitas Terbuka (UT) on Thursday (24/06/2021) online through zoom meeting. The agenda of the visit was convened by Dr. dr. Diah Setia Utami, S.PKj. MARS, the Chief Expert Trainer or Widyaiswara Ahli Utama of PPSDM BNN RI and it was filled with the presentation by Head of Technical Implementation Unit for Professional Development of Universitas Terbuka, Dr. Agus Joko Purwanto, M.Si., on Learning Organization at Work.

In this opportunity, the UT’s Vice Rector for Institutional Development and Partnerships, Rahmat Budiman, S.S., M.Hum., Ph.D., opened and welcomed this activity as it is beneficial for the learning participants of the national leadership training level II, the Center for Human Resources Development of the National Narcotics Board of the Republic of Indonesia (PPSDM BNN RI).

In his presentation, the Head of Technical Implementation Unit for Professional Development of Universitas Terbuka, illustrated on how Universitas Terbuka, through experience, responds to and adapts with IT such that the learning processes in Universitas Terbuka are improved. For instance, in the development of Tutorial through web in order to complete the Tutorial Online and the development of Take Home Exam. Moreover, he also explained the factors that make UT a Learning Organization, which are leadership that supports and directs, flexible organization structure (Hybrid Organization), intensive use of IT, strong learning culture, tolerance with faults or failures, and resource supports. Ending his presentation, Dr. Agus Joko Purwanto, M.Si. wrote that Learning Organization is the key to enter into the disruption era and in turn, what would become the key to open up the world is learning.
