Indonesia Open University or Universitas Terbuka (UT) received a virtual audience of Universitas Pancasila (UP) which was attended by both universities’ chairmen on Wednesday, 21/07/2021. It was not a mere visit, yet this activity was a discussion forum related to collaboration initiation between both universities.
Indonesia Open University (UT) once again hosted an international event. In this event, UT is the host of regular activities of 5 Open Universities (OU5). The theme of this activity, called OU5 President and Research Group Meeting, is on “Strengthening OU5 Research Collaboration and Partnership”.
In providing Distance Learning services (DLS) which are targeting various groups of people, Universitas Terbuka (UT) continues to establish collaborations with a number of institutions, both government and private, like the activity recently held at Wisma UT, Tangerang Selatan, on February 9, 2018.
Providing access to education for all levels of the society with 'borderless' principle is conclusively and strongly adhered to by Universitas Terbuka (UT), and those who are currently working and living abroad are no exception. It is noted that thousands of Indonesian nationals who are now overseas are registering as UT students.

In accordance with the Higher Education ‘Tri Dharma’, institutions of higher education have an important role in the development of science through good and sound research. Nowadays, this role will be difficult to carry out in the absence of cooperation in the sharing of information and science between institutions.
Universitas Terbuka (UT) is an open and distance education institution which has been regionally and globally recognized.
